ABSTRAK

Infrastructure development is very up to date along with the innovation, such as in concrete innovation. Concrete has a high compressive strength but very weak at receiving tensile load. In this study, metakaolin is used to level up its compressive strength also to reduce the used of cement. In another hand, steel fiber is expected to increase the bond strength between the steel reinforcement and the concrete itself. 
High strength self-compacting concrete is a concrete which has compression strength more than 41,4 MPa and can solidify by itself. The specimen used in this study have cylindric shape with 150x300mm in dimension, set for 28 days and the bar’s diameter is 12 mm. Metakaolin content is 17,5% from concrete’s mass and the steel fiber variations are 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 kg/m3.
In this study, the addition of steel fiber Dramix 3D 65/35 BG causes the concrete not qualified as a Self Compacting Concrete cause it does not fulfill the criteria for V-funnel test in all steel fiber variations and for L-box test in 30 kg/m3 steel fiber variation. The optimum steel fiber addition for bond strength happens at 20 kg/m3 with the average of 4,54 MPa, compared  to normal concrete which only reach the average of 3,53 MPa (it increases the bond strength about 28,64%). It can occur because steel fiber contributes to add cinetic friction with the deformed bar thus, the bar is getting harder to be pulled out when the load is applied.
