The goal of this article is to examine The approach can be used to analyze monopolistic practices and unfair business competition and analyze the takeover of PT.Tokopedia by PT. Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa is viewed from the perspective of business competition law. This study is a normative legal study with the nature of prescriptive and applied research. The approach used is the statute approach with using sources in the form of Primary legal resources, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials are all used. According to the findings of this study, that the approach that can be used by KPPU in analyzing a business indicated by monopolistic practices and unfair business competition is to use the Per se Illegal approach and the Rule of Reason approach. In terms of analyzing the acquisition of PT. Tokopedia by PT. Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa uses the Rule of Reason approach, where through this approach, an analysis of market concentration and barriers to market entry is needed to prove the alleged monopolistic practice and unfair business competition from PT.
