THE EFFORTS TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ LEARNING RESULTS AND PARTICIPATION THROUGH EDMODO-ASSISTED BLENDED LEARNING MODEL IN THE NETWORK SERVICE TECHNOLOGY COURSE OF CLASS XI TKJ 2 IN SMK NEGERI 1 BANYUDONO. The research aims to improve the learning results and participation of the students of class XI TKJ 2 SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono in the Network Service Technology through the application of Edmodo-assisted Blended Learning Model.

This is a classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of four stages, namely: the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The subjects of this research were 34 students of class XI TKJ 2 SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono. The data were collected by tests, observations, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data were then validated using triangulation technique. Then, the data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis model.

The results showed that the application of Edmodo-assisted blended learning model could improve the learning result of Network Service and Technology course of the students of class XI TKJ 2 SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono. The improvement was proven by the increasing cognitive and participation score of the students in every cycle. In the pre-action, the average score of students’ cognitive learning result was 66.618 with a completeness percentage of 47.05%, and the students’ participation percentage was 61.02%. In cycle I, the average score of students’ cognitive learning result was 89.853 with a completeness percentage of 94.11%, and the students’ participation percentage was 73.94%. Those numbers have reached the achievement target, but there were still several indikators which have not reached the target. In cycle I, the average score of students’ cognitive learning result was 91.912 with a completeness percentage of 94.11%, and the students’ participation percentage was 84.76%, in which it has reached the target indikator, where each indikator has reached a limit of 70%. This research concluded that the application of Edmodo-assisted blended learning model could improve the cognitive learning and participation of Network Service and Technology course of students of class XI TKJ 2 SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono.
