This study investigated the effect of financial technology payment business on the bank fee-based income. The panel data collected from the annual report of conventional banks operated in Indonesia from 2012 to 2019 Was analyzed using the panel regression. Random Effect (RE) was selected as the estimation method for understanding this research finding's stability. The effect of fintech payment was measured using the log of volume transactions made by fintech payment firms. The results revealed a negative and significant relationship between the bank fee-based income and the fintech payment firm’s business. Further, the results indicated that the fintech payment firm disrupts the bank's fee-based income. In particular, Fintech has a complementary relationship with banks in BUKU 1.
