This internship report was written to describe the internship program conducted  at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia from February 14th, 2022 to April 14th, 2022. This report explains the process of translating Rumah Atsiri Indonesia’s restaurant menu and mentions the strategy that I used to solve the translation problems. There were main activities and additional activities during the internship program at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia. The main activity of the internship was translating Rumah Atsiri Indonesia’s resto menu from Bahasa Indonesia to English. Meanwhile, the additional activities were being a GRO staff member, being an educator, participating in Rumah Atsiri Indonesia training and participating in the induction program. In the translation process, there were several problems that I faced, such as finding an appropriate term related to cooking ingredients and finding the equivalent word of the traditional food. To overcome the problems, I looked up more references related to the difficult terms to gain knowledge about the menu. In addition, the monolingual and bilingual dictionaries are also helpful to find out the meaning of the terms. To overcome the traditional food problems, I need to know the basic ingredients of the food because sometimes there is no equivalent word in target language. Looking up on parallel texts also helped me find equivalent terms.
