The objective of this report is to summarize the internship activity conducted at PT STAR Software Indonesia that started from January 25th until April 29th, 2022. The main activity is to deal with automotive translation projects. This report explained the process that needs to be carried out for the internship activity. The implementation flow is explained in this part. It began with the selection of agencies and continued to the process of proposal submission and guidance until it reached the completion of the internship activity. This report applied the translation process using Nida & Taber method, they are, (1) analyzing, (2) transferring, and (3) restructuring. Afterwards, in the process of translating automotive terminologies, I used the Molina & Albir technique. The theories of Nida & Taber and Molina & Albir might be immensely useful in solving translation difficulties. There were various of challenges to overcome throughout the internship, including learning newly found automotive terms, conveying the intended message from the original material, and working with varied texts. The solutions to the problems I found during the internship were solved using an online dictionary and the internet, and I sought advice from the project manager. This report provided conclusion and recommendation as a kind of guideline for developing improved internship programs in the coming years. The internship activity offered students a great opportunity to learn new things that will give them the benefits for their future professional careers. During my internship, I learned a lot about the translation industry and developed skills that would help me for my future job as a translator. Research and observation were also necessary to find solutions to the problems during the translation process. Moreover, there were recommendations for the institution, the study program, and the students in this section.
