The internship report aims to describe all activities during the internship at the Administration Division of Surakarta City, which are divided into two categories. Two categories are the main activity and additional activities. The main activity is translating chapters 1, 2, And 6 Of Civil Engineering Book Entitled Technical Standards And Guidelines For Planning And Design Of Sabo Structures From English Into Indonesian. Meanwhile, the additional activities consist of all projects concerning translating, rewriting, editing, and archiving documents of the Administration Division. The translation process used when carrying out the translation activities is Nida and Taber’s, which has three stages. The three stages are analyzing, transferring, and restructuring. The problems in translating the main activity are 1) translating complex sentences, which was solved by dividing the complex sentence into simple sentences, 2) translating technical terms, which was solved by finding the equivalence in the target text from books, journals, and etc., 3) and translating texts in the bubble, which was solved by making the translation shorter so they will fit the bubble.
