This study covered the phenomena of code-switching in the podcast Makna Talks as well as the influence of the podcast's structure on the use of code-switching. The research focused on examining the different kinds of code switching and the reasons of speaker code switching in podcasts. This study was classified as descriptive qualitative. The relevant data was delivered in the form of utterances spoken by the Podcast's speakers. The findings indicate that intra-sentential, inter-sentential, and tag switching are the three types of code switching that have been discovered. Out of 121 data, it was discovered that there were 69 inter-sentential code-switching, 49 intra-sentential code-switching, and 11 tag-switching. Meanwhile, there are seven reasons of code-switching that found in the data, namely Talking about particular topic, quoting somebody else, being empathic about something, interjection, repetition used for clarification, intention of clarifying the speech content for interlocutor, expressing group solidarity. It was discovered that talking about particular topic is the most used reason among the other seven reasons As a result, the podcast structure influences the number of code-switching in the Podcast. It because the number of code-switching is different in each structure podcast.
