This study aims to find out the correlation between (1) resourcing ability and reading comprehension, (2) vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension, (3) resourcing ability and vocabulary mastery toward reading comprehension. This is a correlational research  using mix-method design which is a kind of a quantitative and qualitative research. The research subject is from a class of tenth grade at one of vocational high school in Surakarta. There are 30 students. The research data were collected by using a resourcing ability test, vocabulary mastery test, reading comprehension test, and interview for resourcing ability. The result revealed that: (1) there is a positive correlation between resourcing ability and reading comprehension (rx1y). The coefficient correlation of the first hypothesis is 0.96; (2) there is a positive correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension (rx2y). The coefficient correlation of the first hypothesis is 0.95; and (3) there is a positive correlation between resourcing ability, vocabulary mastery, and reading comprehension (Ro). The coefficient correlation of the first hypothesis is 0.96. Hence, it can be assumed that resourcing ability and vocabulary mastery contribute to students’ reading comprehension.
