Due to the pandemic of Covid-19, maintaining an excellent motivation to stay writing takes time and effort. Traditional writing approaches cannot effectively maintain or develop EFL learners' enthusiasm for learning. Peer feedback using Google Docs becomes one of the solutions to keep the writing motivation alive. This study is aimed to explore the pre-service English teacher's experience of types of peer feedback and the potential of Google Docs in facilitating peer feedback activity.

This study applied an autobiography narrative inquiry methods, and the study participant was the researcher who joined the Academic and Article writing classroom as a learner. The main data of the research was based on the diary or narrative of the researcher's experience, supported by an artifact in the form of Google Docs screenshots. Following the thematic analysis, the researcher read the data repeatedly, reduced the amount of data, and coded the data by highlighting the data relevant to the topic; the researcher then created thematic or subject headings or groupings.

The findings showed: (1) the types of peer feedback experienced by the pre-service English teacher such as Global revision-oriented, Global non-revision-oriented, Local revision-oriented, and Local non-revision-oriented; and (2) the potential feature of Google docs, such as discussion panels, comment panels, built-in spelling, and grammar checker facilitated pre-service English teacher’s peer feedback activity. This study contributes evidence of the potential function of Google docs to facilitate peer feedback, allowing the peers to focus on the global feedback area despite local areas such as grammar. This study can guide English teachers in applying Google Docs to their peer feedback activity to adjust the learning design to develop the appropriate learning activity for the situation.
