×
Cancer is a disease with abnormal cell growth and spread. Riskesdas data for 2018 shows that the prevalence of cancer in Indonesia is 1.49 per 1000 population. Chemotherapy is one of the most common cancer treatments. This study aims to determine the description and severity of ADRs in the form of myelosuppression and its correlation with risk factors in post-chemotherapy patients with the ifosfamide - mesna regimen at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. The research method was carried out retrospectively using medical records and laboratory data, namely hemoglobin, leukocytes, platelets, neutrophils, and MCV. The study population was all cancer patients in January – March 2024 with a sample size of 100 patients. The data obtained was then analyzed using the CTCAE instrument to determine the severity of ADRs, and SPSS in the form of univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that ADRs occurred in 84% of anemia with grade 2 severity (48.8%), 52% in leukopenia with grade 1 severity (61.5%), 23% in thrombocytopenia with grade 1 severity (47.8%), 42% neutropenia with grade 1 severity (54.8%), and 19% hypochromic microcytic anemia. Statistical results showed that age had a significant effect on leukopenia and thrombocytopenia, gender and chemotherapy cycle had a significant effect on anemia, and type of cancer had a significant effect on leukopenia and hypochromic microcytic anemia. These results are said to be significant because they have a p value <0>
