×ABSTRACT
PT. Pertamina (Persero) is a company running in Gas and Fuel sector that
has been established for a long time in Indonesia. In order to create positive
image, PT. Pertamina (Persero) through its Hupmas division holds this CSR
program.
This CSR is a Public Relations Campaign held straightforwardly by the
Hupmas (Governmental and Society Relation) function of UPms III of PT.
Pertamina (Persero). This CSR program is called “Pertamina Concerns Situ
Gintung”.
Based on the State-Own Enterprise (BUMN) Ministerial Decree No. Kep-
236/MBU/236 deciding that each BUMN is obliged to hold a Partnership and
Environmental Establishing Program (PKBL). Partnership Program (PK) is
intended to the small-scale entrepreneurs, while Environmental Establishing (BL)
is intended to the people in the business area of BUMN. CSR program of PT.
Pertamina (Persero) is one of work programs of Environmental Establishing (BL).
The allocation of Environmental Establishing program (BL) itself is for
the natural disaster victims, training, education, health improvement, the
development of infrastructure and general infrastructure as well as worship
infrastructure. It has been implemented for a long time by the Marketing Unit
(UPms) III Pertamina for their operation area encompassing DKI Jakarta, Banten,
West Java and this Marketing unit office is located in Jl. Kramat Raya No.59
Jakarta Pusat.
The status of grant given is bequest, that is, the company does not want
their money return back but the fund is used for the community empowerment
around the work location.
It is actually the Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR. CSR now has
been much done by both national and international companies.
