This final report was written based on the internship program at Pruf Ritz Communications Hub, which was conducted from January 16 until March 11, 2023. This final report is to describe the internship activities at Pruf Ritz Communications Hub, precisely the translation process of the academic text paper. The characteristics of this academic paper are simple, concise, objective, and logical. When translating the document, the problems I faced were grammar, technical terms, long phrases, and difficult words. Especially, when I found some sentences that needed to change the whole structure, for example from passive sentence was changed into active sentence. Meanwhile, technical issues such as an unstable network, unorganized text files, and an unsupported laptop to open the file format delayed the internship activity process. To deal with the translation problem, the strategies I used were searching the trustworthy references related to the technical terms and difficult words, using a grammar checker to correct the wrong grammar, chunking the long phrases before finding the equivalent translation, and paying attention to the feedback from the linguist or the translator of Pruf Ritz Communications Hub. Besides that, to solve the technical issues, I did the internship activity at a place with a good Wi-Fi signal, re-wrote the text file by divided into groups, and requested the project manager to send the file that supports with any devices.
