×<p> <span lang="IN" xss=removed>Banana propagation generally uses suckers or



offshoots, which only produce limited seedlings, take a long time, are not



uniform, and are not guaranteed to be disease-free. Therefore, to meet national



banana demand, technology can be utilized to propagate bananas through tissue



culture.</span><span lang="IN" xss=removed> </span><span lang="IN" xss=removed>This study aims to determine the growth response of barangan banana



planlets in vitro with the addition of BAP and IBA. </span><span lang="IN" xss=removed>The study was carried



out at the Plant Physiology and Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of



Agriculture, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta from April-December 2024. The



method used was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of



two treatment factors and three replications. The first factor was BAP (0; 1;



2; and 3 ppm) and the second factor was IBA (0; 0.5; 1; and 1.5 ppm). The



observation variables included time of shoot emergence, time of root emergence,



time of leaf emergence, number of shoots, number of roots, number of leaves,



shoot height, and root length. Data analysis was conducted using analisis of



varians at a significance level of 95%, if significant continued with Duncan’s



Multiple Range Test at a significance level of 95%. The results showed that the



combination of BAP and IBA did not affect the number of leaves in Barangan



banana plantlets. The combination of BAP 0 ppm and IBA 1.5 ppm produced the



best number and length of roots.</span></p>
