Upaya peningkatan hasil belajar ekonomi/akuntansi dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think Pair Share) pada kelas XI IPS 5 SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 (penelitian tindakan kelas)

× ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi/ akuntansi pada siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2009/ 2010. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus di mana masing-masing siklus dilalui dengan empat tahapan, yaitu: (1) perencanaan tindakan; (2) pelaksanaan tindakan; (3) observasi tindakan; dan (4) refleksi tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010 sebanyak 36 siswa dengan komposisi 20 laki-laki dan 16 perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara kolaborator bersama dengan guru mata pelajaran akuntansi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, teknik evaluasi atau tes, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi/ akuntansi pada kelas XI IPS 5 SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2009/ 2010. Hal tersebut didukung oleh fakta-fakta sebagai berikut: (1) Keaktifan siswa dalam apersepsi meningkat sebanyak 14%. Hasil tersebut ditunjukkan pada siklus 1 sebesar 58% (21 siswa) dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 72% (26 siswa); (2) Keaktifan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS meningkat sebanyak 16%. Hasil tersebut ditunjukkan pada siklus 1 sebesar 61% (22 siswa) dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 77% (28 siswa); (3) Keaktifan siswa dalam diskusi berpasangan/ kelompok meningkat sebanyak 20%. Hasil tersebut ditunjukkan pada siklus 1 sebesar 61% (22 siswa) dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 81% (29 siswa); (4) Ketuntasan hasil belajar meningkat sebesar 15%. Hasil tersebut ditunjukkan pada siklus 1 sebesar 68% (23 siswa) dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 83% (29 siswa); (5) Keaktifan siswa dalam diskusi mengalami peningkatan terbesar dibandingkan dengan keaktifan dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa lainnya. Hal tersebut disebabkan siswa memberi respon yang positif terhadap tugas yang diberikan guru dengan aktif berdiskusi dalam pasangan/ kelompok. Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS, hasil belajar, ekonomi/ akuntansi ABSTRACT The aim of this reseach is to find out the implementation of cooperative learning type TPS (Think Pair Share) is able to improve the learning result’s of economics/ accounting subject on XI grade of IPS 5 students in SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta at the year of 2009/ 2010. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) that is executed in two cycles and each cycle is passed in four phases, they are: (1) planning; (2) action; (3) observation; dan (4) reflection. The XI grade of XI IPS 5 students in SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta at the year of 2009/ 2010, with the composition of 20 males and 16 females, are the subject of this research. It is executed in a collaboration with accounting’s teacher. Observation, Test, documentation, and interview are used as the technique of collecting the datas. The result of this research is the implementation of cooperative learning type TPS is be able to improve the learning result’s of economics/ accounting on XI grade of IPS 5 students in SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta at the year of 2009/ 2010. It is supported by the facts: (1) The student’s activation in apperception is increase in amount of 14%. It is shown at the first cycle in amount of 58% (21 students) and 72% (26 students) at the second one; (2) The student’s activation in following the cooperative learning of TPS is increase in amount of 16%. It is shown at the first cycle in amount of 61% (22 students) and 77% (28 students) at the second one; (3) The student’s activation in the pairing discussion is increase in amount of 20%. It is shown in amount of 61% (22 students) at the first cycle and 81% (29 students) at the second one; (4) The learning result’s completion is increase in amount of 15%. It is shown in amount of 68% (23 students) at the first cycle and 83% (29 students) at the second one; (5) The student’s activation in the discussion has the biggest improvement compare with the activation one and the other completion of the student’s learning result. It is caused that the students give the positive responses to the task that is given by the teacher in grouping or pairing discussion actively.
