× Analysis of financial statements is conducted to interpret financial information which is presented in financial report. Final purpose of writing this is to perform analysis of financial ratios on the PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Solo 57 100 and knowing the financial performance and advise what strategy to raise the financial performance of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Solo 57100. Based on the analysis results can be known to the financial performance of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Solo 57100 in 2009-2010. Data used are primary data is a financial report at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Solo 57100 in 2009-2010. Analysis methods used were analysis of vertical and horizontal analysis. Techniques used in the analysis of financial statements is an analysis of the ratio of liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, profitability ratios, and the ratio of the activity. The results of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Solo 57100 in 2009-2010 shows that on an average liquidity ratio increased. Although the liquidity ratio has increased, but the PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Solo 57100 can be said to be in a state illikuid as it still is below 200%. In a solvency ratio showed that in 2010 the company's ability to meet its debt is more assured than in 2009. On the profitability ratios showed that in PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Solo 57100 has a pretty good profit management, but less well on cost management. In activity ratios showed good results in its accounts receivable turnover in the year 2009 than in 2010. PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Solo 57100 is expected to improve its performance, so that the ratio of financial statements produced better numbers. Financial performance can be improved by increasing the amount of income that is by doing a better marketing strategy that can provide greater benefits.
