× ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to sudy the diversification of land macribiota, the effect of speed of erosion and potatoes productivity in intercropping land (Carica and Potato) if it is compared by potatoes monoculture. The research results show that (1) diversification of macrobiota in intercropping land is higher than in monoculture. Each of them is (129,41). The spesies that are found in intercropping land and monoculture is (70, 59). It is dominated by worm. However the spesies that are found in the surface of inter cropping land and monoculture is (29, 12). It is dominated by red ant. (1a) Index of macrobiota diversification in the surface of intercropping land and monoculture (0,8009, 0,6783) is higher than index of macrobiota diversification in the surface of intercropping land and monoculture (0,6928, 0,6783). (1b) The ratio of the content of C/N in monoculture is higher than in the intercropping land, namely 31,88 ; 29,71. (2) Based on the analysis of land erodibility factor (K) in research field, the erosion in intercropping land is suverer than in monoculture (0,18, 0,12) because of the simbrity of the type of land factor. The significant impacts in intercropping land is 28.82 and monoculture is 6,18. The management of intercropping land factor is (0,40) and monoculture is (0,15) so, the level of erosion intercropping land is medium (11,944 ton/ha/th) while in the monoculture is very high (178,221 ton/ha/th). (3) That there is no decrease level of potatoes productivity although it is intercropped by carica. This research proves that productivity of intercropping is higher than monoculture.
