Salsa Bilha Rizki Pratama,2023. Translating Histrionic Personality Disorder Popular Psychological-Article at Pro Translasi, English Diploma Program, Vocational School of Universitas Sebelas Maret.

This internship report aims to describe the whole series of internship activities at Pro Translasi, from January 16 to March 10, 2023. I chose Pro Translasi as my internship institution because Pro Translasi is a translation agency that has been in business for 8 years and has experience in providing high-quality translation services for both clients domestic and international. My main internship activities include writing articles, translating various texts, and reviewing translations. In addition, there are also additional activities such as class sessions with in-house translators and retyping legal documents.  This report also elaborates on the process of translating the "Histrionic Personality Disorder" psychological popular article. When translating the text "Histrionic Personality Disorder", I found two main difficulties: the lack of knowledge about the topic and the difficulty in translating some of the specific contexts in the text.  To solve these problems, I did some research on Histrionic Personality Disorder using articles or journal references. To find the appropriate equivalent for the specific context that I found, I looked for definitions from several online dictionaries and psychology dictionaries such as (APA Dictionary of Psychology and Kamus Istilah Psikologi by (Fuad Hasan, 1981) to find the appropriate equivalent. This internship has provided me with valuable knowledge that I can utilize to build my professional career after graduation. For future recommendations, the duration of the KMM (Student Internship Program) implementation can be extended not only for two months so that the project and internship activities can be optimized.
