This internship report was written based on my Student Internship Activity, which focused on translation works at PT Kelinci Rubah Indonesia (foxandbunny), in Yogyakarta, from February 17 to April 11, 2025. My main task during this internship was translating company history text and product-oriented parenting articles from Indonesian to English to introduce the foxandbunny brand and products to the international market. During the translation process, I encountered several challenges, especially when dealing with emotional, cultural, and ideological terms, as well as differences in sentence structure. To address these issues, I applied a three-step translation process: analysis, transfer, and restructuring. This required me to carefully interpret the meaning of each sentence, select accurate English expressions, and revise the sentence structure to ensure that the final text was clear, readable, and appropriate for English-speaking audiences. I also ensured that the original tone and messages were conveyed in English. This activity helped me strengthen my translation skills and taught me how to deal with actual problems in translating texts. Additionally, I learned how translation can play a role in helping local brands communicate with a global audience. Overall, this internship provided me with valuable experience in translating creative content while supporting foxandbunny's goal to expand its global market.
