×<p>Background: Noise exposure is a worrying hazard in the manufacturing industry, especially for workers who are continuously exposed to sounds above the NAB (>85 dBA). This condition can impact auditory and non-auditory health, especially work stress. At PT X Sragen, workers often complain of noise that causes discomfort, hearing fatigue, difficulty communicating, and difficulty focusing. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of analyzing noise exposure effect on work stress through acoustic panel intervention.</p><p>Method: A quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design was used for 15 days. With a total population of 527 people, the proportionate stratified random sampling method divided 104 workers into an experimental group (n=45) with treatment and a control group (n=59) without treatment. Pre- and post-intervention measurements were carried out using Sound Level Meter and Heart Rate Variability (HRV) on the Huawei Band 10 to analyze the effect of acoustic panels. Data analysis used independent t-tests and paired t-tests.</p><p>Result: The experimental group experienced a significant decrease, namely noise exposure of 6.02% and work stress of 29.89%, while the control group did not experience a significant decrease with a relatively similar average.</p><p>Conclusion: Acoustic panels made from polyurethane foam and Mg(OH)2 effectively reduces noise exposure and occupational stress. This intervention is a viable solution to noise and work stress complaints in the workplace.</p>
