ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang : Rinosinusitis Kronik (RSK) merupakan inflamasi mukosa hidung dan sinus paranasal dengan jangka waktu gejala ≥ 12 minggu. RSK terjadi proses remodeling, dimana TGF-β memaikan peranan kunci dalam proses ini. Kualitas hidup sendiri merupakan komponen kebahagiaan dan kepuasan terhadap kehidupan. Pada RSK, kualitas hidup dapat diukur dengan kuesioner Sino-Nasal Outcome Test 20 (SNOT-20). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuktikan hubungan kadar TGF-β dengan kualitas hidup menggunakan SNOT-20 pada RSK.
Tujuan : Mengetahui korelasi kadar TGF-β dengan kualitas hidup pada penderita RSK.
Metode Penelitiab : Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan cross sectional dengan membandingkan pemeriksaan kadar TGF-β dalam serum darah dengan teknik ELISA dengan kulitas hidup pada RSK menggunakan SNOT-20. Kemudian data dianalisa bivariat dengan teknik pearson’s product moment, dan dilanjutkan analisa multivariat dengan uji regresi linier.
Hasil Penelitian : Sampel penelitian berjumlah 32 dengan perempuan sebanyak 18 pasien (56,2%) dan laki-laki sebanyak 14 pasien (43,8%). Rata-rata kadar TGF-? sebesar 50045,68 pg/mL. Rata-rata skor total SNOT-20 adalah 52,16. Kadar TGF-? tidak berkorelasi dengan kualitas hidup pada domain hidung. Kadar TGF-? berkorelasi negatif dengan kualitas hidup pada domain telinga dan wajah. Kadar TGF-? berkorelasi positif dengan kualitas hidup pada domain kualitas tidur. Kadar TGF-? tidak berkorelasi kualitas hidup pada domain sosial dan emosi. Kadar TGF-β tidak berkorelasi dengan kualitas hidup secara umum pada penderita rinosinusitis kronik dengan menggunakan SNOT-20.
Simpulan : Kadar TGF-β tidak berkorelasi dengan kualitas hidup secara umum pada penderita rinosinusitis kronik dengan menggunakan SNOT-20. Namun apabila ditinjau dari domain telinga dan wajah kadar Kadar TGF-β memiliki berkorelasi negatif. Sedangkan bila ditinjau dari domain Kualitas tidur kadar TGF-? berkorelasi positif.

ABSTRACT
Background : Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is an inflammation of the mucosa of the nose and paranasal sinuses with a period of ≥ 12 weeks of symptoms. CRS is remodeling proces, in which TGF-β played a key role in this process. Quality of life is itself a component of happiness and satisfaction with life. At CRS, quality of life can be measured by a questionnaire Sino-Nasal Outcome Test 20 (Snot-20). This study was conducted to prove the levels of TGF-β relationship with quality of life using a snot-20 on SSR.
Objective : Knowing the levels of TGF-β correlation with quality of life in patients with CRS.
Methods : This study used cross sectional design checks by comparing the levels of TGF-β in the blood serum with the ELISA technique with quality of life at the RSK using Snot-20. Then the data were analyzed by using a bivariate Pearson's product moment, and continued analysis of multivariate regression test.
These samples included 32 women a total of 18 patients (56.2%) and men as many as 14 patients (43.8%). at 50045.68 pg / mL.?The average levels of TGF- Average of snot-20 total score was 52.16. levels did not correlate with quality of life in nasal complaints. TGF-? negatively correlated with quality of life in the complaint ears and face. Levels of TGF-? levels positively correlated with quality of life in sleep quality complaints. TGF-? levels did not correlate the quality of life in social and emotion complaints.TGF-? levels did not correlate with the general quality of life in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis using Snot-20.
Results : TGF-β levels did not correlate with the general quality of life in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis using Snot-20. However, when viewed from the domain ears and face levels of TGF-β levels have a negative correlation. positively correlated. Meanwhile, when viewed from the domains Sleep quality levels of TGF-?.
