PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI L-KARNITIN DAN MINYAK IKANDALAM RANSUM TERHADAP PERFORMA KARKAS ENTOK(Cairina moschata) BETINA PERIODE GROWERSASSONIA GANDES BELLA PERMATASARIH0517089ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian Lkarnitindan minyak ikan dalam ransum terhadap performa karkas entok betinaperiode grower. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Gledeg, Kecamatan Karanganom,Kabupaten Klaten yang dimulai pada Bulan September hingga November 2020.Entog (Cairina moschata) betina berumur 1 bulan sebanyak 60 ekordidistribusikan ke dalam kelompok perlakuan dengan desain Rancangan AcakLengkap. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu P0 = Ransum kontrol, P1 = Ransumkontrol + L-karnitin 40 ppm, P2 = Ransum kontrol+L-Karnitin + minyak ikan tunadengan level 4%, P3 = Ransum kontrol+L-Karnitin+ minyak ikan lemuru denganlevel 4%. Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 5 ulangan dengan 3 ekor entog tiap ulangan.Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji kontrasorthogonal. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan suplementasi L-karnitin danminyak ikan pada ransum berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0>karkas entok betina. Suplementasi pakan mampu meningkatkan bobot potong yaitudari 1.668,2 g menjadi 1801,2 g, meningkatkan nilai pertambahan bobot karkasdari 1.008g menjadi 1.120g, meningkatkan persentase karkas dari 60,446%menjadi 62,187%. Selain itu, bobot lemak abdominal meningkat dari 15,70gmenjadi 18,56g dan persentase lemak abdominal dari 0,942% menjdi 1,031%.Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa suplementasi L-karnitin 40 ppm,minyak ikan tuna 4% serta minyak ikan lemuru 4?pat meningkatkan nilaipertambahan bobot potong, bobot karkas, persentase karkas, bobot lemakabdominal dan persentase lemak abdominal.Kata kunci: L-karnitin, minyak ikan, grower, performa, entok, betina THE EFFECTS OF L-CARNITINE AND FISH OIL IN RATION ONCARCASS PERFORMANCE OF THE GROWER-PHASE FEMALEMUSCOVY DUCK (Cairina moschata) GROWER PHASESASSONIA GANDES BELLA PERMATASARIH0517089ABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to determine the effect of L-carnitine and fishoil in ration on the performance of female muscovy duck at grower phase. Thisresearch was conducted in Gledeg Village, Karanganom District, Klaten Regency.It was started from September to November 2020. Female muscovy duck aged 1month as much as 60 heads are distributed into 4 treatments group with aCompletely Randomized Design as follows P0 = Control ration, P1 = Controlration+ L-carnitine 40 ppm, P2 = Control ration+L-carnitine + tuna fish oil (4%),P3 = Control ration+L-carnitine+ lemuru fish oil (4%). Each treatment consisted of5 replications with 3 muscovy duck on each replication. Data were analyzed usinganalysis of variance and continued with orthogonal contrast. The results showedthat supplementation of L-carnitine and fish oil in ration have a significant value(P<0>supplementation was able to increase slaughter weight from 1,668.2 g to 1801.2 g,carcass weight gain from 1,008g to 1,120g, and carcass percentage from 60.446%to 62.187%. In addition, the weight of abdominal fat increased from 15.70g to18.56g and the percentage of abdominal fat from 0.942% to 1.031%.
