Shallot (Allium cepa var. aggregatum) is one of the strategic horticultural commodities in Indonesia, with demand continuing to increase while productivity remains low. The use of True Shallot Seed (TSS) is an alternative planting material with the potential to increase shallot productivity. Efforts to optimize TSS cultivation require appropriate nutrient management support through the use of suitable NPK fertilizer formulations and optimal plant spacing arrangements. This study aimed to determine the effect of the combination of NPK fertilizer formulation and plant spacing arrangement on the growth and yield of TSS-derived shallot. The study used a Completely Randomized Design with a split-plot arrangement (CRD Split Plot) with two factors, namely NPK fertilizer formulation as the main plot (NPK Phonska 15-15-15 at a dose of 200 kg/ha, NPK Mutiara 16-16-16 at a dose of 600 kg/ha, and Mixed NPK 17-10-22), and plant spacing arrangement as the subplot (10×20 cm, 15×20 cm, and 20×20 cm). The results showed that the combination of Mixed NPK with a 10×20 cm spacing was effective in increasing plant height and leaf number. The single NPK fertilizer treatments did not have a significant effect on any of the observed parameters. The 10×20 cm spacing treatment was able to increase fresh shoot weight, dry bulb weight per plot, and dry bulb weight per hectare, with the highest yield of 6.56 tons/ha compared to the 15×20 cm spacing (3.68 tons/ha) and 20×20 cm spacing (2.51 tons/ha).
