ABSTRAK
Tujuan utama penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar melalui self-regulated learning dengan bimbingan kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pra eks-perimental desain one group pretest posttest design. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu 30 siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan angket motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara statistik dengan paired sample t-test.
Hasil penelitian pada skor motivasi belajar sebelum siswa diberi perlakuan diperoleh nilai rata-rata skor pretets 56,267 dan skor postets 59,87. Berdasarkan hasil t-test diperoleh t-hitung 5,675 dan t table 1,697 dengan signifikansi 0,05. Karena t hitung>t table yaitu 5,675>1,699 maka ho ditolak dan ha diterima. Hal tersebut membuktikan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar pada subyek penelitian sebelum dan sesudah penelitian.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Self-regulated learning melalui bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Manyaran diterima.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to improve the students’ learning motivation through self-regulated learning by group guidence. This study utilized pre-experiment research approach with one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was 30 students who achieved low score for learning motivation.. The data collecting technique used was questionnaire instruments on learning motivation which validity and reliability had been tested. The result of the study was statistically analyzed by paired sample t-test.
The result of study showed mean of pretest 56,267 and post test 59,870 , this show improvement. The result of t-tes are t-count 5,675 and t-table 1,697 with significance 0,05,so that 5,675>1,697. So, there is a difference between pretes score and posttest score of experimental group after giving self-regulated learning with group guidance. It show that Ho rejected and Ha accepted, it is proven that there are improvement of learning motivation before and after treatment.
Hence it could be concluded that self-regulated learning by group guidance was effective to improve learning motivation of the eight grade student of SMP Negeri 2 Manyaran in academic year 2015/2016
