This research focuses on the translation analysis of exercitives speech act realizing politeness strategy in selected Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3 movies. This research analyzes the types of exercitives speech acts, the types of politeness strategies, and the translation techniques used. Examines the shift in politeness strategy caused by the translation techniques and evaluates the translation quality in terms of accuracy, acceptability, and readability. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method. The translation of utterances realizing exercitives speech acts and politeness strategies was used as research data. Document analysis and focus group discussion were conducted to collect the data. A total of 143 data were identified, including 7 types of exercitives speech acts dominated by command, 4 types of politeness strategies dominated by bald on record, and 13 translation techniques dominated by established equivalent. There were also 17 shifts in politeness, dominated by a shift from bald-on-record to negative politeness. The cumulative translation quality score reached 2.8.
